My Japan Trip with my Doh-Doh, No-No and family...

I am a big girl now and can fly on a plane all the way to Japan to see Linda-EE and Uncle Kohei's home country. They are Japanese and from Japan and I got to see how much fun it is to be Japnese too.

Mama, PoPo, Linda-EE and Uncle Kohei took us kiddies to Japan first while Eva-EE met us in Japan. Baba had to work but got to come a few days later to join us.

It was cold there and our hotel did not have heat at first. Only the last day was it warm at night. Luckily we got to sleep on the floor and stay warm together under the heavy blankets. I don't think that Japan has any roaches or ants since we were able to sleep on the floor.

Here are a few photos showing our fun trip and what we got to do in Japan...

The flower outside our hotel was very pretty...

We stayed in a traditional Japanes Hotel. I think that this meant that they did not have beds or heat in our room. It was fun to snuggle with my brothers and family!

I think that I was sleep walking... see I told you that I could walk. Maybe I needed to change my contact lenses, but I am not sure what that is. My No-No fell out of bed, but there was really no bed to fall out of...

My brothers are still sleeping. Don't they know that there is light outside already?

I like it when my Mama carries me. We had another room where we put our food and hung our towels.

We found out that they did have chairs in the "traditional" hotel either. We got to eat our morning snack on the floor. My brothers are awake now.

Why is my Horsey green? No-No, yours is green too. Doh-Doh, I need my agua.

We got to see Mrs. Koyama's home too. She is Linda-EE's new mom. PoPo is Linda's-EE's mom too. We also got to see Auntie May. She is Japanese too but came to PHX to go to school before i was born.

We got to see some penguins. My MaMa is a pirate!

Even though it was not quite full blossom for the Cherry trees, we got to see some Cheery Blossoms in the park. My BaBa took this picture with his big camea.

This is my PoPo. She is in Japan with me. I love my PoPo.

These are my brothers. Doh-Doh and No-No. They are nice to me.

My MaMa loves me and so does my BaBa, Doh-Doh and No-No.

We are at the park in Japan. They have lots of fun things to do there. They even grew a bit hill of grass for us to slide down on...

You cannot walk down the hill but...

you can slide down it. Look at my EEs. They are silly.

I got to slide down the hill too with my MaMa.

My BaBa got to go to the park with us too. He was only in Japan for less than 1 day. My No-No is strong. He can swing on the rope by himself.

My MaMa is strong too 'cause she can swing all by herself too. She made a yucky face though. I think that was to scare the other kids in line to let her go first... or maybe to let everyone know to move away so that she didn't bump anyone...

My family photo. My brothers are silly.

See the Cherry Blossoms behind us? MaMa told me that they are not really cherries growing on the trees. My MaMa is sometimes silly since they wouldn't name the flowers cheery blossoms if they were not cherry trees!

In Japan, we also got to ride on the subways. We liked to walk everywhere and ride on the subways and get squished like sardines. We don't get to do that in PHX.

This sardine can is not full yet...

No-No hanging with BaBa!

My PoPo and Doh-Doh are tired after a fun day at the park. Can't wait to go back and eat all of the cherries from the trees in the park. BaBa and MaMa said that we might have to go back when the cheeries are ready to pick and eat. I wanted to wait and see the cherries grow, but we were off to Hong Kong next...

Baby Elise, Noah and Caleb are Cheering on the AZ Cardinals...

Noah is wondering why Kurt Warner is playing basketball instead of football but likes taking a photo with Kurt anyway...

Baby Elise is happy that the AZ Cardinals are playing in the NFC Championships for the very first time! Can you guess who Baby Elise is rooting for?

Off to the Races...

Jockey Caleb and Noah prepare at the gates with their racehorses, Coolie Coodie and Oody Dee-Do. If memory serves us correctly, this is a rematch from last year's Grand Prix where Coolie Coodie and Oody Dee-Do tied for first place for the first time in history. Jockey Caleb calms Coolie Coodie by making a silly face. Jockey Noah becomes a statue on top of Oody Dee-Do.

The race begins and Coolie Coodie takes the lead, but Oody Dee-Do follows closely behind. There is no time to waste as the race will determine the winner of the Triple Crown today.

The final stretch as Coolie Coodie is still out in front, but Oody Dee-Do is closing in fast behind.

There is another photo finish and Jockeys Caleb and Noah tie once again. We want to point out Coolie Coodie and Oody Dee-Do's tails in the below photo. Nicely done by World Famous Trainer Mama-Dada-Do-Di.
Spectator and the only fan in the stands, Baby Elise Do-Dis, is a bit distracted with her Ferrari Racecar, but takes a peak through the windshield at the Race Results. Another history-making day at the races!

My First Christmas!

This is my first Christmas... My Mama bundled me up in my jacket and other clothes the other night and we drove to across the street to a fenced area wth many trees. It was cold and my little nose was frozen, but after a little while, my Doh-Doh and my No-No and I found the perfect Christmas Tree for our house. You can see our tree decorated with lights and other cute ornaments. Oh yeah, my whole family was laughing hysterically at the camera mounted on the tripod for some reason...

Here they are still laughing below...

Then they started doing some sort of weird signs with their hands... Not quite sure what they are doing...

I decided that after a few hundred photos of weird hand gestures and hysteria, I wasn't going to look at that camera with the 3 silver legs anymore...

Here is a picture of my No-No putting a baby ornament onto my tree. He was very careful since Baba said that every ornament was a limited collector's item from Goh-Ma. I'm not convinced of that since we have so many of them...

I finally decided to scream in excitment since we were opening our Christmas presents... Me, Doh-Doh and No-No got this cool box from Mama and Baba...
We opened it and Baba put it together and my brothers tested it out. Works really well!
I am very happy to spend my first Christmas with my family. Thank you Baby Jesus for inviting us all to your birthday party!

Our LightRail Experience...

Phoenix's Lightrail Transport system officially opened today with celebrations at every stop. Unfortunately the wait to ride the Lightrail was over an hour going and about 3 hours coming back, but Mama, Caleb, Noah and Baby Elise braved the wait and the ride while Baba drove to the next stop to pick up everyone...

It was a first of man... first time riding the Lightrail, first time seeing a Ferrari, first time going into real active firetruck and best of all, first time experiencing a Port-o-Potty!

Thanksgiving with my Yeh-Yeh and Mah-Mah...

Look at me, I am being carried by my Yeh-Yeh and Mah-Mah. I have my little jacket on and I like to wave at the camera. My brothers are football players. You can tell from the next photo. You can't see their faces, but I know that they are my brothers.

This is Yeh-Yeh and Mah-Mah's engagement photo below. They are only 5 years old. My brothers are not as old as them yet and I am growing really fast.

Caleb and the Pillar.

The boy with many faces... and his pillar!
