Finally Friday and it was finally time to say goodbye to Chandler Regional Hospital. Originally Betty and Baby Elise were supposed to come home on Thursday afternoon, but ended up staying an extra night due to Betty's fever. A few fun facts: this is our third delivery at Chandler Regional Hospital, Betty's third C-section, third child weighing over 7 lbs 6 oz, third child with lots of hair, etc... but first baby daughter. To prepare for the departure, I was given the priviledge to dress Baby Elise. I put on her new pink outfit, bundled her in the infant carrier warmly, got the minivan and took the girls home. The original surprise welcome set for Thursday night still stood with a Welcome Home cake, lots of balloons and a handmade banner from her 2 Goh Gohs... Since Baby Elise's name was not finalized until Thursday and I had already purchased the cake, the name on the cake was misspelled... Ooops... Furture reference... Elise (L-lease)!

Noah is 2 Years Old...
Everyone liked Noah's 2-year old ice cream football cake including Baby Elise. Of course she did not have any, but she liked being in the photo with Noah though... Noah got to blow out his candles and Caleb was quick to pull out the candles so that we could have some cake! Everyone is ready for some football... ice cream cake that is!
Party for Noah at his School
Caleb surprised Noah in his class with some 2-year old birthday cupcakes. All of Noah's classmates were excited to see all of the chocolate frosting and ate most of it while getting the rest of it all over themselves! One friend even managed to poke her hand into 4 different cupcakes before eating her own! Noah was very happy to see his Goh Goh and family (Grandma Yeung, Baba and Linda-EE... Mama and Elise were still in the hospital). See his happy face and birthday hat!
Introducing Elise Lydia Yeung...
After a few days of being with Babycakes, we feel that her name is as precious as ever. Elise (Consecrated by God and/or My God is my vow) Lydia (of the noble sort) Yeung's appearance is changing everyday and it is amazing how someone so small has captured our hearts so quickly! Daddy is already wrapped around her beautiful baby finger...

BabyCakes Second Day...
Day 2 from the perspective of "Babycakes". 24 hours has gone by and I think that I am doing really well. I like to eat lots, get to nap, watched some HGTV, pooped a really big one and got my foot pricked by a nurse. I only lost 2oz from the time that the nurse first weighed me when I came outside of Mama's tummy. Mama is also doing well and able to eat the good hospital food. Mama also took a shower, walked around, got her IV tubes taken out and got a visit from Baba, Grandma and my 2 Doh Dohs. Linda-EE is also staying with me overnight again. Here are some photos of my and my Doh Dohs... I am really bonding with both of them and my Big Doh Doh helps my Little Doh Doh not push the wrong buttons on the hospital bed.

BabyCake's First Day in Phoenix...
Praise God for a safe delivery and another blessing for our family! Babycakes Yeung was born January 14th, 2008 at 1:27pm. She weighed 7lbs, 8.5oz and measured 20" long. She has a nice set of lungs, tested them out for a while, but has reserved them for special occasions (such as during hunger pangs). Both Babycakes and her Mama are doing well despite the really early 3am admission into the hospital. Babycakes' Baba's condition is another story...
