Haircuts for Everyone!

The boys did really well getting their hair cut at the Kid's Haircutting Place. Caleb enjoys the little prize that he gets afterwards and Noah just watches his big brother to see how he should react to the buzzer and clippers. Both did not cry at all and sat really still for the hairdressers. Noah just had to be within eye contact of his big brother and when Caleb finished his haircut first, Noah insisted that Caleb came over to be with him... Both haircuts are definitely much better for this hot and humid PHX weather!

Lying Around at the Dentist's Office

This morning, Caleb visited the dentist for the first time. He watched through the waiting room clear glass door at other young children (older than him) getting their cleanings done. He was at first reluctant to sit in the chair when it was his turn after having the chance to choose a toothbrush for himself, but he did! Then, he went through a whole cleaning and exam without a bit of fuss. He got a pair of glasses to wear during the procedures to help with the light that is above the eyes, which looked rather cool on him. Admittedly, he did have some gunk on his teeth, but all of it got cleaned off and we are off to a great start again. They brushed with bubble gum flavored flouride on his teeth, flossed, polished, cleaned with the sharp things that adults get during their dentists' visits. He even got a sticker, a toothbrush, a yoyo, and a choo choo whistle out of it all. It really made me proud!!! It will make you proud, too. :) Just take a look!

Off-roading in Sedona...

Noah, let's go says Caleb and Noah's off to Sedona with his big brother riding in the back of their Jeep... Beep, beep, excuse me Mr. Rock. Never a dull moment with the boys.

Jumping at Rolly Pollies

Caleb's classmate Jared celebrated his 3rd birthday at Rolly Pollies in Gilbert. Pictured here is the birthday Jared in the middle with Caleb on the right side and Sabastian on the left. Can you find Noah somewhere in the photo as well? Caleb enjoyed jumping, climbing and running throughout the gym before having some pizza and cake. He had a great time with his buddies from school. Caleb and his buddies are also all transitioning into the Pre-Kindergarten class together as well. In the photo to the right, Caleb climbed so high (all by himself) that he had a small problem figuring out how to get back down...

The Boys in Dec 2006...

Caleb loves his baby brother Noah and Noah loves his big brother Caleb. This photo tells it all... best of friends and best of brothers. Of course there are times when they both want to play with the same toy, but that is another story... All in all, we are truly blessed with the two little guys. Now that Noah is super mobile, not sure how many more of these sitting photos I'll be able to get.

Back in Dec 2006...

Sorry this is a bit late, but I didn't get a chance to view these photos until now... Kalie and Gracie got to visit us in PHX and we all went to Auntie Jing's and Uncle Calvin's new home to eat and play at the playground. Caleb was really happy but didn't want to be in the photo as the only boy since Noah was too tiny to play at the park... Caleb later eased up a bit and snapped the photo with all of his girl-friends (friends that are girls) on the winding stairs... Auntie Jing contantly tells the story of how Abby's prom date will wait for Abby at the bottom of the stairs while Abby slides down the bannister. We always look forward to when Kalie and Gracie can visit and can't wait until the next time they return...
